Wikipedia and Flickr

I had some fun playing around with Wikipedia, seeing what I could add/edit. At first I really wanted to write up my own entry, but I couldn't decide what to write it about. It seems like everything I could've possibly thought about writing (off the top of my head) was already in there. So, instead I decided to edit the Politics section of the Honduras entry, adding the names of the county's major newspapers. I thought it would be a beneficial contributions, since it will allow readers to recognize, search and even navigate to the newspapers' sites if they wish to read them online. You can check it out at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honduras#Politics
However, this did get me thinking about the validity of what gets posted. How can we, as readers, know just how true a certain post is. I personally think that Wikipedia is a good enough source for general information, however people should always take in this info with a grain of salt.
As for Flickr, I was surprised by how simple, user-friendly and fast this site is. I had never used any kind of online photo management and sharing application because I always used Facebook. However, I may just have to start using Flickr -- I found it to be much easier, faster and more efficient than Facebook. It was a nice surprise!
